MYANMAR’S AIRLINES TO LAUNCH NEW ROUTE TO PHUKET 3/1/2018


Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) will launch new flight route between Yangon and Thailand’s Phuket in March, according to a release of the Information Ministry on Saturday.

The airlines will start the new service with two weekly flights on March 25th and it will cost US Dollar 250.00 for a round-trip.

The MNA has extended international network to Singapore, China’s Hongkong in 2015, Bangkok and Chiang Mai in 2016.

The airlines served about 600,000 passengers so far in present fiscal year 2017-2018 and is expecting 1.5 million passengers in open season.

The country’s national airlines were founded in 1948, initially offering only domestic routes.
